The Kit Demos Off/Axis Big Band (4 trumpets, 4 trombones, 5 saxophones, rhythm, and vocalist) features southern Maine and Seacoast NH/Boston musicians playing music by New England-based composers, innovative arrangers, and adventurous works by Dafnis Prieto, Charles Mingus, George Russell, Roswell Rudd, and others.  We are not a swing-era big band; our setlist ranges from Afro-Cuban to swing to modern/avant-garde.
